Marriage is a serious business in India after all we Indians get married only once in our lifetime unlike our peers in west. To garner a share of online matrimonial market the media house Bennett,Coleman & Co. Ltd.(BCCL) had launched simplymarry.com. Everything was going nice and well till they realized that they are not giving a tough battle to the existing players like shaadi.com or bharatmatrimony.com so they changed their approach and started targeting metros with their punch line “india’s only metro-monial site” unlike the other players with India focus. They have also recently started an e-zine (or call it blog) called simplymarryzine.com on the lines of shaaditimes.com by shaadi.com and Matrimony Express by bharatmatrimony.com.
What really puts simplymarry.com ahead of its peers is the clever advertising and marketing they are doing since last two years through the print media which only now they have brought online with a cute viral advertisement which can be seen here. I am a big fan of their print advertisements so I have put all the ads they have ever employed in last few months.
